COVID-19’s Effect on Pregnancy Care for Incarcerated People

Rebecca Shlafer, PhD, of the University of Minnesota, collaborated with the ARRWIP team to assess how COVID-19 effects pregnancy care and policies in US prisons and jails. The impact of COVID-19 on pregnancy care delivery and support services for incarcerated pregnant people is variable and concerning, especially the housing and quarantine practices.
